Sarah Palin

To begin, I want to say Thank you to Sarah Palin for first of all presenting herself as a lady. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see a beautiful woman who is articulate, well put together, and can deliver a speech on the national stage as if she had been doing it her whole life, when in truth this was her first time at bat. I don't believe this was beginners luck, she is the charisma and charm that the McCain campaign desperately needed in order to avoid being perceived as another Bush/Cheney ticket. She is a breeze into the sails of the Republican party, not to say that it is a gentle breeze. I have no doubt that she could turn into a hurricane at any moment and destroy anything that is in her path...but at least she will do it with a smile and her lipstick on. Some say she didn't touch on the issues enough in her speech ...yet they also say we don't know anything about her, hard to please both sides of that coin. Her speech was insightful into her personality and gumption, and she touched on enough issues for her first speech, especially considering people outside of Alaska didn't have a clue who Sarah Palin was until about a week ago. Yes time will tell how this Washington outsider will fare in the world of never ending interviews and media scrutiny, she will take a few tumbles I have no doubt, but it is my opinion that she will get up , dust herself off and come to bat stronger than the first time.
