Since the announcement of Sarah Palin as John McCain's running mate, the media has been in a frenzy. It seems the media's goal is to expose every detail of Palin's personal life. So, her husband was arrested more than 20 years ago for driving under the influence of alcohol, Palin is not her husband plus that was twenty years ago! Another issue that has come up is Sarah Palin's 17-year-old, unmarried daughter is five months pregnant. but because of her mother's guidance she is having the baby and marrying the father.
In an interview before the news about the pregnancy became known, McCain had said that Sarah Palin was balancing both her family life and her official responsibilities very well. "She inspires me, "said John McCain, U.S. Presidential Nominee. Even Barack Obama is concerned about how the media is portraying Palin. "Kids should be left alone. This is not part of our politics, it has no relevance to governor Palin's performance as governor or her potential as Vice President." In my opinion the media should focus more on what she stands for and less on her personal life.
If this was a man running would the media take it this far?
