The second day of the Democratic National Convention was honestly something you shouldn't have missed.  Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana brought the crowd to its feet with his energy-packed speech about how the white house has led us in the wrong direction for the past 8 years and McCain wants 4 more years of the same.  I was sucked into the television with the first sentence Governor Schweitzer had to say.  His demeanor and the way he held himself was like he is your best friend and you have known him your whole life.  I mean for goodness sakes he was wearing a bolo tie, jeans and cowboy boots!  With all that aside, his key notes on the Democrats' energy plan and his truthful hits at McCain brought the crowd of thousands to a standing ovation especially after this,  "If you drilled everywhere, If you drilled in all of John McCain's backyards, even the ones he doesn't know he owns, you still wouldn't have enough for the full energy needs of Americans".

Chelsea Clinton introduced her mother, Senator Hillary Clinton, with an awesome video conveying the message of a woman can be whatever she wants to be.

Senator Hillary Clinton took the stage with her "No Way. No How. No McCain." speech that energized the audience.   After watching even just these two amazing people speak, I can't help but wonder how exciting and emotional this election truly is going to be.  Senator Clinton touched on our nation's most important issues all of us as Americans face.  She called on all of her supporters to fully support Senator Barack Obama and to unite the Democratic party.  She was given a huge ovation both before and after her speech which she fully earned.
