As Tuesday, November 4th approaches, I find myself more and more anxious. I really feel like a child on Christmas Day as I wait to see what is going to happen. And while I can’t predict the results, I hope that more than anything, this year’s election sets a trend. While lines are predicted to be long and I am sure many problems will arise, the fact that we are about to embark on a remarkable historic election is going to bring out a remarkable turn out of voters. So even more than which candidates end up in office, I hope tomorrow sets a precedent for every election to come. The day will be full of first time voters whom I hope will continue a habit of voting for years to come.
