McCain and Obama both have made many mistakes through out their campaigns dealing with different issues. It’s human nature to make these mistakes. But for candidates trying to persuade the nation to vote for them mistakes can take a big toll on them.

Obama didn’t seem too hurt by the mistakes he made. He was too well liked by the public. He also knew how to make himself look better so that he could clean up his mistakes. He is also a good enough speaker that he knew how to recover.

McCain, on the other hand, was really hurt by his mistakes. He had so much potential in the beginning and he blew it. Yes, he wasn’t new like Obama, but in his own way he could have had a few new tricks up his sleeve. He just got too caught up in wanting to try and out do Obama. That is what is going to kill him in the end.
