During the last days of McCain’s campaign, supporters are standing there ground and remaining quite loyal to the republican presidential candidate. They are doing this, despite his 7 percent lapse in the current polls. In Colorado, McCain supporters are fighting fiercely in order to sway neutral voter’s opinion and increase the number of Republican Party votes. Supporters are always calling and stopping people to talk to them one-on-one. Some of the volunteers came from out-of-state, such as Kentucky, and are stationed in Colorado until the campaign is over. A couple of supporters have been there for two months and are just now suffering from “election fatigue”. Despite the fatigue, they keep going because they believe McCain is the best man for the job, even though he may be the underdog at this current point in time. When a McCain supporter and mother of two was asked if she had ever swayed an undecided person’s vote, she simply smiled and nodded her head. It has been said that, many people do not listen to the political ads full of mudslinging or other forms of media, sometimes a basic one-on-one conversations with people is your best bet to changing someone’s opinion.
