Last night the Steelers played the Redskins at home and beat them. Chris Berman interviewed both candidates at half-time. Obama was boring and talked about basketball, McCain was funny and talked about Football. I already voted and I don't think that would have been a factor anyhow. I do however see the strategy in the appearence. If I'm not mistaken Monday Night Football is the most popular program on T.V. and every single vote counts. White males are the largest audience for MNF and the largest demographic in voting statistics. Obama made kind of a lame joke about wanting playoffs in college football, while McCain went the serious route in taking performance enhancing drugs out of sports. I think McCain won this battle but that does not take away from his and Palin Saturday Night Live appearences. Why show up to something that is written by a liberal cast for a liberal audience, when your not even that funny to begin with? Beats me.
