Just over the last year there have been many changes in the U.S. that has sent us on a completely different path. It almost seems as if everything is up in the air. We don't know what is going to happen next and where that will cause our nation to head to. I would have to say that the economy and the election are the two biggest factors in where our country will head.
Some people don't believe the election's outcome will have any affect on where we as a nation head, but I believe these people are completely wrong. McCain and Obama are completely different from one another and have completely different plans for our country. Yes, both will deal with the economical crisis we are in, but they will do it in different ways. Depending on the candidate we pick will depend on where our economy will head.
Just briefly looking at Obama's and McCain's economic plans you might think that they have a lot in common, but that's not true. While the basic things they focus on seem to be similar the details of each are very different. For example, both Obama and McCain want to create more flexibility in the work place, but focus on different ways to accomplish this. McCain wants to help through forming a commission which will deal with the issue, while Obama wants to help out people through a more direct approach.
People need to know what they are looking for in a candidate and they need to know where they want our country to head to.
