Votes from Ohio

Does it all hang on the votes of Ohio?  Ohio is the most important state to the candidates right now.  Obama has visited the state 23 times, and McCain has been there 30 times trying to reel in votes for their respective campaigns.  A total of 55,000 television ads have been run in Ohio alone.  Ohio is vital to this election because traditionally Ohio has voted with the party that wins.  Right now, it’s not looking too good for McCain.  A recent visit was paid to Ohio by MSNBC, and they asked questions to several people, focusing on the working middle class.  It turns out that middle-class voters simply want solutions to the economy, like the rest of the country.   Several Republicans were interviewed and were quoted as saying that this is the first election in which they will vote for a Democrat.  These Republicans think that the Democrats are working for the middle class and will help them—it’s as simple as that.  Since the average American falls into the middle class, Obama may attract many of these voters, regardless of political affiliation.
