I was very disappointed in Sarah Palin when she spoke at the first vice presidential debate. Through out the entire debate she would do things such as focusing on certain points too much and not answering questions. She seemed to me to be a little bit on the unorganized side.

When I first heard her speak at the Republican Convention I was absolutely blown away by her. She seemed to be strong, witty and didn't take anything from anybody. To hear her stand up to the media the way she did made me stop and say wow. She was a woman who knew she had power and wasn't afraid to use it. She had her agenda and wasn't going to let anyone take it away from her. Plus at the same time, she was very down to earth. You might say at this convention she was in her prime. For me, she was at the top of her game and was only going to get worse from there on out.

When it came time for the vice presidential debate I already knew that Palin was beginning to make herself look like bad. She always seems to make the most ridiculous comments whether it be about hockey moms being like pitt bulls with lipstick or about how she just got her passport. These type of comments are not funny or cute, but instead make her look really silly. She seems to be filled with these kind of comments.

Through out the whole vice presidential debate she kept going back to the same topics over and over as if the topics were some extremely important thing she had to get across to the nation. Alternative energy was one of these points. I enjoyed hearing her speak on it the first go around, but after the fifth or sixth time she circled back to that topic I really wanted to tell her to move on. Every time she was given a question she always seemed to not answer the question and move back to the alternative energy point. It was just disappointing.
