It looks like John McCain will appear on Letterman after all. According to the David Letterman Show website, John McCain will be a guest on Thursday's show. This occurs after he canceled his earlier appearance three weeks ago--saying he needed to return to D.C. to focus on the financial crisis. But when Letterman discovered that he was interviewing with Katie Couric at the same time he was scheduled for taping the Letterman show, he was quite disappointed. We will have to see if this appearance is enough to make ammends between the two.
