Like most people last wednesday night, I spent my night close to the television watching the Republican National Convention. I think it was a very smart choice by the Republican party to chose someone like Palin. Not only does she bring diversity to the ticket, she also seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Not to mention she is a very good public speaker. Despite her daughter being pregnant at age 17 McCain still made the choice to add Palin to the Republican ticket. Obviously Palin is a women who knows how to handle a crisis. From her speech you can tell that she is not afraid to fight for what she believes our country needs. I believe that choosing Palin is very beneficial for the Republican parties campaign.
