Opinion over Integrity?

While reading coverage of the election tonight, I came across an interesting article regarding none other than Oprah Winfrey.

The article was about a Republican women's group boycott of Oprah and her television show because she has refused to book Sarah Palin for an interview even though Senator Obama has appeared on her show in the past.
Many would say that it is Oprah's prerogative to choose who she wants on her show. However, I could not help but think that, even though she hosts a daytime talk show, she is still a journalist. As we all know, a good journalist does not let their own opinion influence their reporting.
It was frustrating for me to read about Oprah, a staunch and well-know supporter of women in politics, refusing to talk to one of the most promising female politicians.
I guess that's just another wrinkle in all the issues of this constantly changing election scene. I can't help but wonder which other "journalists" are sacrificing their integrity in lieu of their own opinions.
