Get Back to Business

Yes, Palin’s daughter is pregnant.  So what?  What does this have to do with the presidential nomination?  How does this affect politics in any way?  Palin does preach abstinence, but that does not mean she can control what her teenage daughter does or even thinks.  No one seems to emphasize the good in the situation: Palin’s daughter is keeping the baby, marrying the father, and not having an abortion.  Everyone points out the bad in the situation instead.

To the extreme, some crazies think that if Palin cannot control her daughter, then how will she be able to run a country?  That question is irrelevant to the situation.  Running a country and raising a daughter is like saying painting and cooking are the same.  They are totally irrelevant to each other.  Obama said, “It has no relevance to Governor Palin’s performance as governor, or her potential performance as a VP.”

Another way to view the occurrence of the pregnancy is that Palin could possibly reach a different public.

There is a good and bad side to every story.  I think everyone should stay out of their personal life and get back to business.
