President Obama

Barack Obama addressed the country as the new president elect of the United States. Obama's speech was an inspiration. He proved that America is a place where all things our possible. Tonight the American people waited in lines aross the country in schools and churches to cast their vote because they believed in a change. A change that this time must be different, and a time for their voices to be heard. Obama stated that we can now prove to other countries in the world that "we are not a collection of red states and blue states, that we are the United States of America." Tonight change came to America. Progess will be made and a goverment for the people, by the people has not parrished. Obama said, "a new dawn of American leadership is at hand." I believe that he is a president we can trust. One of his most powerful statements of the evening was when he said, "the true strength of our nation comes from our democracy, opportunity, and unyielding hope." YES WE CAN!
