I just read an article on the front page of the NY Times discussing how the internet has changed the course of this election and elections to come. It talked about how things like youtube, facebook, and blogs have changed the face of campaigning. As I read the part about how important bloggging has become and how many voters are influenced and encouraged to question their choice of candidate through blogs, I immediately thought about this class and how much we blog. Isn't it cool to think that we could be influencing someone who's reading all of our posts? Although I never once thought of this blog as "schoolwork," thinking about the fact that it could be helping to form potential voters' opinions makes it about a lot more then just a grade.
