I am honestly sick to my stomach thinking about some the comments I have heard and statuses I have read on facebook. It is shocking to see such a set back from students in what is to become the "future of our country." I would have never thought that an African American becoming president would bring such negativity. The crude and racial comments do not correct anything. It is appalling to see that we are supposed to be the greatest nation in the world, yet we are still struggling with racial slurs and "hopes for assassination attacks" on our president-elect. This should unify our country because we are all Americans.
