Sunday was a big day for Senator Barack Obama. Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has now said he is going to endorse Senator Obama. As for his reasons for his endorsement, CNN campaign coverage says...

1. His ability to inspire

2. The inconclusive nature of campaign

3. He is a transformational figure

4. He is a new generation coming onto the world stage

Not that I mind his endorsement but I would have appreciated a few better reasons than... he is a new generation coming onto the world stage. I thought this endorsement was interesting and note worthy because of his deviation from party lines. Nothing will surprise me when it comes to the 2008 Presidential Campaign.
