According to a Newsweek poll, Barack Obama has gained a double digit lead. But what I don't understand is how we base our elections are incorrect polls. John Kerry had a lead over George Bush even on election day in 2004, and Kerry ended up losing. So why does the media focus so much on them?? And where do these statistics com from? I'm a registered voter and i've never once been asked who I am voting for and why, and I'm pretty sure my parents never have either. WHO ARE THEY POLLING????
According to the article, 86% of American are disatisfied with how things are going, but have you ever been asked by one of these polls what your standings are on a candidate or a specific issue. I'm going to guess no. So, I'm just going to ignore the polls and wait for November 4th.
