The second presidential debate Tuesday fell, well practically flopped, on the boring side.  I was even opted to change the channel on multiple occasions.  There was too much practice in what McCain and Obama were saying.  It was as if both their advisors had printed up the proper and politically correct answers to what exactly they should say an hour before the debate was suppose to start.  Needless to say I was dissapointed. Especially, after the vice presidential debate had been so exciting and full of memorable moments.  I think the majority of the American population had been holding the same expectations.  Keep in mind, that the bar wasn't being held unreasonably high.  Neither of the candidates delievered.  An hour and a half of "blah," when what this country needs is direct, honest solutions.

If there was a "star" of the debate, I guess I would have to pick Tom Brokaw.  He was by far the most interesting to me.  He gave such a lively presentation when he came to Ole Miss the week of our presidential debate that I kept thinking flashing back to his "there's no place like the grove" spill.
