Yet again, I have discovered via Newsweek that the media is still on their "let's tarnish Sarah Palin's reputation as badly as possible" kick, and now there is an investigation frenzy surrounding Sarah's supposed unfair firing of a commissioner that apparently would not do her bidding in firing her good-for-nothing ex-brother in law. Besides the glaring fact that this cannot be proved and is hardly cognizant to her being John McCain's running mate, answer me this: what normal, warm-blooded human being would NOT use their influence to defend their own flesh and blood? I'd be hard-pressed to say that, even though I consider myself to be a very fair-minded and upright citizen, that it would not cross my mind to fire someone who I knew to be a psychotic and unreliable person through family ties, if it were in my power. Before the media trashes someone, they would do themselves a service in putting themselves in the person in speculation's shoes. I know that everyone lives in glass houses and she has put herself in the limelight by joining in this campaign, but I wish everyone would stop nit-picking and focus more on matters that truly deserve media attention.
