After looking through the “politics” section in the New York Times I came across a heading entitled “McCain Seen as Less Likely to Bring Change, Polls Finds”. The poll question stated “Who would bring about change in the way things are done in Washington?” The results favored Barrack Obama voting him 65% likely to bring change; while McCain was voted 59% likely not to bring change in Washington. This poll consisted of 1,133 adults via telephone. I also note that it was taken during a rough week on Wall Street (sometimes this makes a difference in opinion). It’s funny how there are polls every time I turn on the news around this time of year, especially before elections. Polls are ALWAYS up and down and steadily contradicting each other. Two weeks ago, I remember hearing that McCain was becoming increasingly popular due to his choice in running mate, Palin. McCain has been in Washington for 26 years and I believe he would know how to get things rolling if he needed to. With that be said, if he wants change so badly, why didn’t he try to start this change while he was still in Washington?
