I would just like to express my disappointment and disapproval in the way that the media and the public at large are being so quick to judge Sarah Palin's capability as a vice presidential candidate, and even worse, as a mother, in light of the discovery that she has a pregnant teenage daughter. For starters, as much as a mother might try, NO ONE can completely control their child when they set out to do something that their parent does not agree with. A parent's limitations on their child can only go so far, and that is something America needs to look in the mirror and realize. This revelation is FAR from being the worst thing ever dug up from the recesses of a politician's personal life, and I feel that we should definitely give Palin a chance to prove herself by judging her character as a political figurehead, instead of on issues that have absolutely nothing to do with her ability to help lead our nation. Last time I checked, Palin had a 90% approval rating in Alaska-let's give her a chance to impress us as a nation before we throw her to the wolves, shall we? :)
