Introduction

First of all let me state that I am no authority on the subject of politics and frankly do not keep up with or engage in politics or even political debates as much as I should. That said I have a scary feeling that I am like majority of Americans in that regard;this is not something I am proud of ,nonetheless it's true. Therefore read this blog and all others knowing that my political knowledge and depth comes from groggily waking up to the Today Show's news spot and reading the CNN ticker, or any news ticker for that matter, which I happen to glance at while passing through the living room or before my top eyelashes meet the bottom ones for a few peaceful hours. In the perfect world I would wake up to all the leading newspapers at my doorstep, read them, watch each of the major news networks to attempt to achieve a balanced view of the days events, all before I had my coffee , ran four miles and made a delicious batch of pancakes. But since this isn't the perfect world I count the morning as a success if I don't spill my coffee on the way upstairs, catch the news while hurriedly slapping makeup on my face, and grab a Nutri-Grain bar while running out the door. My point to all of this is to indicate to you whomever is reading this, that my opinions are not necessarily well researched , they are more of a gut instinct than calculated and strategic. I figured if we began this blogging relationship understanding this then things would go much more smoothly.
