Palin - Pro Life Role Model

John McCain’s pick for running mate shocked a lot people when he announced it last Friday morning. As soon as I arrived to my 9 am class, everyone was already talking about his choice. Once class was over I did my research and found that everything I heard was true. Sarah Palin is the current US governor of Alaska. She is the first woman and youngest person ever to hold office. Palin has so many great qualities and is a great role model for young women to look up to, especially during this day and age. I believe the most admirable thing about her is her stand on abortion. Palin is a mother of five children and gave birth to her youngest son last April. She found out early on during her pregnancy that her soon to be born son had Down’s syndrome. Palin’s decision to have the baby was highly praised by the pro-life community. Palin has deemed the title "pro-life as any candidate can be.” She is against abortion for rape and incest victims supporting it only when the mother’s life is in danger.
